ABOUT PROJECT
Once upon a time, we didn't have technology like nowadays. When we want to avoid clinic peak period, we have to call. But usually the call was unanswered.
When we need to see a doctor, it means trouble. If we were lucky, we avoided the peak period of the clinic, otherwise we needed to spend a long time waiting….Or worst, the clinic was closed when we reached there…
Now, we have the Internet and smartphone. And there are appointment Apps available. That makes our life easier. BUT still, you can see people stuck in the registration counter of clinics, long queues of people waiting for consultation…
The gap hasn’t been filled. Because not many people make appointments with clinics.Therefore, managing the queue sequence of both walk-in and appointment patients is key.
And real-time queue running of clinics must be available online to patients in the simplest way...
HENCE, I BOOTSTRAP MY START-UP TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE.
With my team, we built an online real-time queue management system for healthcare centers (main focus is General Practitioner clinics).
From our database, or with the QR Code, patients can link to clinics implementing our system.
Via our system, patients can:-
- Make self-registration with any clinics which use our system, take a queue number and check real-time queue running via their smartphone (web browser, no sign-up needed).
- Minimize their time wasted on unnecessary waiting for registration & for consultation
- Avoid being congested in clinics. Social-distancing, a new practice we learned after COVID-19 outbreak.
We’re soft launching the system to a few clinics. Based on their inputs, they have about 600 patients on average per month.
In other words, with every clinic implementing our system, about 600 people per month will be benefited.
We have done the FIRST STEP - to build the system.
To benefit more people, we need to scale up the magnitude of clinics using the system.
We aren't charging patients for the benefits they enjoy from our system. At the same time, to encourage more clinics to try and implement our system, we’re giving them FREE accounts...
HOW WE USE YOUR DONATION
The plan for the system to self-sustain is through sponsorship, advertisement fee.
The fund generated from this platform is to support the system to reach the aforementioned stage.
It would take about a year to achieve the above stage. Hence, the fund donated from you will be spent on marketing, users acquisition, operation & maintenance of the system (OPEX), awareness campaign to public, networking, sponsorship fundraising activities etc.

以前的科技不如现在发达，当我们需要去诊所看病时，我们最多只能致电去诊所查看多不多人，需不需要花长时间等。但是往往电话无人接听。
所以那时我们也只能靠运气。 幸运的，就能避开诊所的高峰期，不然就得花长时间干等待。更糟糕的话，去到诊所才发现它原来没开或休息。。
到了现在科技那么发达有了网络和智能手机，而且也有商家替诊所开发了网上预约系统 (appointment app)为我们带来便利。可是我们还是依然看到人山人海排队在诊所柜台等挂号，挂号了又要排队等医生诊症， 随便要花个一两小时才能搞定……
所以我觉得问题还未解决。 当大部分人都到不舒服到不行才去看病，而不是透过系统和诊所做预约， 结果诊所还是会水泄不通。
因此大家需要的其实是可以很简易的查看诊所里的即时在线的排队号码走势。只要轻易的知道诊所即时在线的排队号码走势，大家就可以轻而易举的避开高峰时段，省下不必要让费的时间在干等。
因此我和我的团队创立了一个系统。
一个让病人能简易获知诊所即时在线排队号码走势的系统。
有了这系统，病人可以通过我们的数据库或QR码，链接到用着我们系统的诊所，然后：
- 自己通过手机与诊所拿挂号，即时查看即时在线排队号码走势。
- 减少浪费不必要浪费的时间在诊所等待挂号和诊症。
- 也同时减少拥挤在诊所的人潮，大家可以有效保持社交距离。
我们已经联系了一些诊所让他们开始使用我们的系统。根据他们的资料，平均一个月他们会有大概600病人到诊所诊症。
换句话说，每当有一家诊所使用我们的系统，每月我们的系统就可以让600人受惠。
我们已经为踏出了第一步。
我们已自资制作该系统和把它推荐给一些诊所使用。为了使更多人受益，我们需要把它推荐给更多诊所。
为了鼓励更多的诊所使用我们的系统让更多人受惠，我们是把系统免费让诊所使用的。同时我们也没有向从这系统受惠的病人收取任何费用。
所以我们需要大家的合作和更多的资金进行推广。
如何使用你们的资金
当这系统能推广给更多的诊所使用时，它就能靠赞助和广告费继续维持下去。
我们预算大概需要一年时间来招揽足够的广告和赞助费让系统自足的维持下去。 因此大家的捐款将会在这段时间被用于市场营销，系统的运营和维护（OPEX），推广系统给大众和诊所，寻找赞助等活动。。。

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Failing to achieve our funding goal means we will only be able to offer fewer FREE Accounts to clinics, and we will have less time to land sponsors and advertisement for the system to self-sustain..
Hence, there will be lesser people being benefited.
Time is money, especially now the economy is in downturn, and our livelihood is affected by COVID-19 pandemic crisis. We need more time to generate incomes instead of wasting it in unnecessary waiting.
Also, if more clinics implement our system, there will be less people congested in clinics. Hence, it helps maintain social-distancing in one of the riskiest premises where COVID-19 (or other similar unprecedented virus) spread.
完成不到我们的捐款目标，就代表我们不能让更多的诊所免费使用我们的系统，同时资金也将不容许我们拥有更多的空间和时间去寻找赞助和广告方面的收入来让系统自给自足的维持下去。直接的系统也不能帮助更多的人。
